A Little About Us

Who We Are

K9 Safe Animal began in 2022 with a simple but powerful belief that every stray animal deserves a chance at life, no matter where they come from or what they have been through. From injured dogs on the roadside to abandoned cats and other strays struggling to survive, we are here to offer help when no one else does.

Our work is rooted in three words: Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Rehome.

It starts with rescue. We respond to calls from across the city, animals hit by vehicles, suffering from infections, or left behind by their families. We make sure they are safely brought to our shelter and given the medical care they need. Then comes rehabilitation. This is often the longest and most delicate part. Many animals arrive not only physically hurt but also emotionally scarred. At our shelter, which currently houses over 60 dogs, we work every day to help them heal, with nutritious food, clean spaces, veterinary care, and lots of patience and love. For those who are ready, we work toward rehome. Our aim is to find responsible, loving families for every animal that is fit for adoption. And in cases where rehoming is not possible, we ensure they continue to live safely and comfortably under our care.

But our mission does not end at the shelter gate. We work closely with local communities, promoting vaccination drives, educating people about responsible pet care, and advocating for the often overlooked Indian stray dogs.

At K9 Safe Animal, we are not trying to change the world overnight, but we are committed to changing their world, one animal at a time. Every animal we rescue reminds us why this work matters. They do not need perfection, they just need someone to care. And that is why we are here

Our Mission

Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome.
At K9 Safe Animal NGO, our mission is to rescue and care for stray, injured, and abandoned animals—giving them a chance at a safe, healthy life. We provide medical aid, nourishment, shelter, and work towards rehoming them with loving families. Beyond rescue, we aim to change perceptions, raise awareness, and promote compassion through community involvement, education, and adoption drives. At K9 Safe, we stand for every life—making sure no animal is ever left behind.

Our Vision

Every life deserves love, care, and a home.
At K9 Safe Animal, we envision a world where no animal suffers for being homeless or abandoned. We strive to ensure that food, shelter, and medical care are basic rights for all animals—not acts of charity. By raising awareness and offering compassionate care, we aim to break the stigma around “strays” and help society see them as deserving lives. Our vision is a future where every animal is valued, protected, and welcomed into a loving home.
